    Obituary- Godwin, Charles
    CHARLES H. GODWIN
    Charles H. Godwin, 94, of Route 6, resident of Shawnee County for 80 years, died Sunday at the Jefferson County Memorial Hospital at Winchester. He had been living with a nephew, Roy Freer, at Winchester for 18 months.

    He was born November 25, 1862, at Lawrenceburg, Ind., and moved to a farm near Kiro in 1877. He lived in Shawnee County until he moved to the home of his nephew at Winchester 18 months ago.

    He is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. O D. Woodford, Topeka; three sisters. Mrs. Eva Cochran and Mrs. Loleta Kinnaird, both of Route 6, and Mrs. Daisy Edson, San Diego, Calif.; and 26 nephews and nieces: one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 with burial in Prairie Home cemetery.
