    ROLAND L. GORDON
    Roland L. “Pancho” Gordon, 45, Topeka died Saturday, August 23, 1980, at a Topeka hospital after an extended illness.

    He was born September 28, 1934, at Wamego, the son of James H. and Helen Burgess Gordon. He spent most of his life at Rossville and moved to Topeka in 1979.

    Mr. Gordon worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber since 1954.

    He was a member of Rubber Workers of America Union, Local No. 307.

    He was married to Norma Lundgren November 7, 1954, at Westmoreland. She survives.

    Other survivors include two sons, Michael Scott Gordon, of the home, and Lyle Wayne Gordon, Wamego; his mother, Mrs. Helen Burgess Gordon, Wamego; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Austin, Wamego, and Mrs. Rebecca Lindbloom, Topeka; three brothers, James D. Gordon, Rossville, Ben Gordon, Manhattan, and Gary Gordon, St. George; and two grandchildren.

    Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday (today) at Parker-Price Chapel. Burial was in Rossville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Capital-Regional Radiotherapy Center, St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, 1700 S.W. 7th, Topeka, Ks. 66606.
