    BENJAMIN R. FLEMING
    Benjamin R. Fleming was born January 1, 1862, in Marion County, Iowa. He came to Jackson County, Kansas, in 1902, and settled with his wife and children. Returning from Rock Island, Illinois, only recently, he became ill and passed away Oct. 16, 1936. He is survived by one sister, Delia Hinton, of Dubois, Neb.; Maud Thompson, a daughter residing north of Delia, and Frank Fleming, a son of Rock Island, Ill., and a grandson, Donald Thompson.
    Funeral services were held in the Adrian church with Rev. Bruce Davis officiating. Interment was made in the adjacent cemetery Sunday afternoon, Oct. 18th.
