    CARL GRAHAM
Again the angel of death has called from our midst a loving husband and father to meet the loved ones who have gone on before and to dwell in that land where, sorrow, suffering, and parting are not known.

Carl Graham was born near Leoti, Wichita County, Kansas, March 8, 1889, and departed this life at General Hospital in Sam Bernardino, California, October 6, at 2:15 p.m., 1959.

When a small boy he moved with his parents to the Swetlick farm near Delia, Kansas, where he grew to manhood.

On March 5, 1924, he was united in marriage to Elsie L. Banta, of Delia, and, this union was blessed with two children.

In March, 1936, they moved to Colton, California, where he work¬ed as a carpenter until sickness forced him to retire although in very poor health for several years. He was very patient and did not complain. His thoughts was always of his family and friends.

All that loving hands could do was done to restore him to health but all in vain and God relieved him of his suffering and called him to his heavenly home, October 6, 1959.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his faithful wife Elsie, of the home 934 West “F” St., Colton, Calif.; a daughter, Ethel Marie Sever, of San Bernardino, Calif.; a son, Earl D. Graham, of El Centro, Calif.; four grandchildren, Lynelle and Lynn Sever, Robert and Floyd Graham; one sister, Mrs. Flossie Wyatt of Lecompton, Kansas; three brothers, Claude, of Kansas City, Kans., Lee of Yucaipa, Calif., and Ray of Colton, Calif. Also many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, October 10, 10 a.m., at Knopsnyders Mortuary in Colton, with the Rev. S. E. Collect, officiating.

Songs by Marjorie Holdzendorff were “The Last Mile Of The Way” and “The Old Rugged Cross.”

Pall bearers were Bud Pratt, Fred Moore, Guy Kraft, Ben Hert, Earl Hodge and Leonard Pine.

Burial was in beautiful Montecito Memorial Park Cemetery.
