Herbert N. Green Jr., 21, died Thursday in a Kansas City hospital of pneumonia and heart complications. The young husband and father was admitted to the hospital the preceding Saturday.
He was married to the former Sandra Macha of Rossville. She and their infant daughter, Karen, survive. Services were held Saturday.

| Obituary- Green, Herbert N. 2 Herbert N. Green Jr.
Herbert N. Green Jr. – 21, of 934 North Eighty-second Terrace, Kansas City, Kansas died yesterday at the University of Kansas Medical Center apparently of a heart attack. He was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas.
Mr. Green was employed as a payroll clerk at Princeton Turf of Kansas City. He was a member of the Victory Hills Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Washington High School. He also was a member of Wyandotte County Civil Defense.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Sandra A Green and a daughter, Karen Sue, both of the home, his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Herbert N. Green, 2108 North Seventy-third Terrace, Kansas City, Kansas; a sister, Mrs. Patricia Potvin, Austin, Texas; two brothers, Roger Green, 31 North Seventy-fourth and Douglas Green, 2108 North Seventy-third Terrace both of Kansas City, Kansas; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Dora Green, 1124 North Thirty-fourth, Kansas City, Ks. and his maternal grandfather, Arnold Westergen, Ottawa, Ks.
Services will be at 11 o’clock Saturday at the Fulton Nickel Chapel; burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 4 o’clock today.
