• Documents		Obituary- Grell, Harry 1 Harry Grell ROSSVILLE - Memorial services will be at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Mary’s for Harry Grell, 89, Rossville, who died Wednesday, July 21, 1993, at a Rossville nursing home. Mr. Grell was a carpenter and had worked at Pearl Harbor, on the Alaskan Highway and in Topeka and Junction City. He retired in 1969. He was born July 11, 1904 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Charles and Lilly Rogers Grell. He grew up in Junction City and was graduated from Abilene High school. Mr. Grell was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Delia. He was married to Jessie E. Wood May 10, 1947, at Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Darmaris Humphrey, Pawley Island, S.C.; a stepdaughter, Norma Simecka, Delia; a sister, Ruth Henner, Hillsboro, Ore.; six grandchildren; six step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and 10 step great-grandchildren. Mr. Grell was cremated and inurnment is pending. Contributions may be made to the Harry Grell Memorial Fund to be designated at a later time by relatives and left with the funeral home.
