  Obituary- Floersch, Mathias One of the oldest settlers in the county, Mathias Floersch, died here at his home. Born in Germany in 1831, he came to Kansas in 1854. His daughter Tabitha was the first white child born in the settlement known as Flush, Ks. They came to the St. Marys area in 1881.
