    Mrs. Ada M. Barney of this city, and Mr. Gilbert L. Folsom, of St. Marys, were married this afternoon at 5:30 at the Methodist parsonage by Rev. Wright Horton.

    Mr. and Mrs. L. Farley entertained at a wedding dinner, Sunday in honor of Mr. and Mrs. G.L. Folsom of St. Marys. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Lowell DeGraff, and Mrs. J.T. Heslet. Mrs. Folsom is the mother of Mrs. Farley and Mrs. DeGraff, and before her marriage last Thursday was Mrs. Ada Barney.

    Ada May Folsom
    Mrs. Ada May Folsom, 93, died at St. Mary’s Hospital in Manhattan, Ks., on Monday morning, April 14, 1980. Known as Aunt Ada to relatives and friends, Mrs. Folsom had been a long-time resident in Manhattan before moving to Alta Vista with a daughter in 1972.
    She was born in Rossville on May 11, 1886, to John T. and Nancy A. Osborn Heslet.
    Mrs. Folsom was a member of the United Methodist Church, St. Marys, and the Eagles Auxiliary. She was a homemaker all her married life.
    She was married to Gilbert L. Folsom. He died on October 26, 1955. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
    Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Farley and Mrs. Fern Gilliland, Alta Vista, and Mrs. Naomi Massey, Wamego; one granddaughter, Mrs. Ethel Mae DeGraft, Topeka; and three nieces.
    The family will receive friends at the Cowan-Edwards-Yorgensen Funeral Home in Topeka from 7:00 to 8:30 Tuesday evening. Services will be in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m., with interment to follow in the Rossville Cemetery. The Reverend Roy Brown will be the officiating minister. The Eagles Auxiliary will have graveside services.
