    Cheryl Joyce Foster
    Cheryl Joyce Foster, 65, Hoyt, passed away Fri., Mar. 15, 2013.
    Cheryl was born Oct. 7, 1947, in Topeka, the daughter of William Smith, Sr. and Julia Maus Smith. She graduated from Harveyville High School in 1965 and attended Clark’s School of Business. Cheryl worked for the State of Kansas from 1974 until she retired in Dec. of 2012. On Aug. 19, 1995, Cheryl and Robert E. Foster were united in marriage and they renewed their vows on Wed., Mar. 13th. Cheryl was a good mother, an excellent wife and was dearly loved.
    Survivors include her husband, Robert of the home; children, Lisa Arndt (Leon), Topeka, Terry Watson (Kurtis Wilkerson), KCMO, and Robin Evans, Topeka; grandchildren, Kayleigh, Sean and Blake Arndt; her father, Bill Smith; siblings, Jeannine Dodds (Dewey), Rossville, Sam Smith (Cindy), Harveyville, and Janet Sommer (Rod), Salina; and nieces and nephews. Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother.
    Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Mon. at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka KS 66614. Funeral service will be Tues. at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Auburn Cemetery.
