    ROSSVILLE - Myra K. Hagedorn, 84, Rossville, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004, at her home. She was born Oct. 14, 1919, at Woodbine, the daughter of Edward and Dora Meyer Brenner. She graduated from Burdick High School and attended Emporia State Teachers College. She taught school in Morris County for several years. She married Don T. Hagedorn on June 5, 1943, in Columbus, Ind. He survives. She was a member of Rossville United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Women of the Moose and belonged to the Rossville Literary Society. She was a Red Cross volunteer at St. Francis Hospital and Winter General VA Hospital. She served as a Girl Scout leader for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Lasswell; a son, James R. Hagedorn; four grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandchild. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel in Topeka. Mrs. Hagedorn will lie in state from 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka.     Myra K. Hagedorn
    Myra K. Hagedorn, 84, Rossville, died Thursday, February 19, 2004, at her home.

    She was born October 14, 1919, in Woodbine, the daughter of Edward and Dora Meyer Brenner.

    She graduated from Burdick High School and attended Emporia State Teachers College. She taught school in Morris County for several years.

    She was a member of Rossville United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She taught Sunday school for many years.     On June 5, 1943, she married Don T. Hagedorn in Columbus, IN. He survives.

    Other survivors include a daughter, Donna Lasswell; a son, James R. Hagedorn; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandchild.

    Her service was at 1 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel MidTown Chapel in Topeka. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka. The family received friends Sunday evening.
