Rossville- Barbara A. Haines, 74, passed away Sunday, July 08, 2012 at her home in Rossville.
She was born December 5, 1937 at El Dorado, the daughter of Orval George and Naomi Evelyn Danner Rose.
Barbara was united in marriage to Victor Eugene Haines on March 8, 1974 at Independence. He preceded her in death on October 7, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her mother, a sister, Sandra Lemon and a brother, Kenneth Rose.
Survivors include two brothers, Larry and George Rose both in El Dorado; a sister, Connie Welch, Anchorage, Alaska.
Barbara joined the Catholic faith on April 3, 2010 and was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville. Interment will be in the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Memorial con-tributions may be made to the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and sent in care of the funeral home.
