    Anita Hamilton
    Anita Louise Hamilton, 41, Rossville, died Sunday, November 4, 2001, at a Topeka hospice house. She had been ill several months.

    She was born November 12, 1959, in Lyons, the daughter of Gregory Lyman and Billie Clair McNelley Houston.

    She had lived in the Topeka area since 1961. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1977, and was employed at the Payless ShoeSource distribution center in North Topeka for 15 years.

    On May 6, 1989, she married Ivan Luther Hamilton in Topeka. He survives.

    Other survivors include a son, Joshua L. Hamilton, at home; a daughter, Alyssa N. Hamilton, at home; two stepsons, Jason Hamilton, Plano, TX, and Jamie Hamilton, Topeka; a stepdaughter, Angela M. Hamilton, Topeka; her father, Gregory Houston, Davidson, NC her mother, Billie Blankenship, Fredricksburg, TX; three brothers, Greg Houston, Chesapeake Beach, MD, Bill Houston, Overland Park, and Phillip Houston, Fort Worth, TX; three sisters, Ila Baker, Topeka, Susan Dunnaway, Perry, and Marilyn O’Brien, Sacramento, CA; and five grandchildren.

    Her service was at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka. Burial was in Mayetta Cemetery, Mayetta. A family visitation was held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.

    ROSSVILLE — Anita Louise Hamilton, 41, Rossville, died late Sunday, Nov. 4 ,2001, at a Topeka hospice house. She had been ill several months.

    Services will be at 2.p.m. Wednesday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka; Burial will be in Mayetta Cemetery in Mayetta. Mrs. Hamilton will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at the mortuary where relatives and friends will meet from 6 to 8 p.m.
