    Mrs. Lena P. Frese

    Mrs. Lena P. Frese, 97, Topeka, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 1990, at a Topeka care center.

    She was born April 8, 1893, at Pender, Neb., the daughter of Albert and Pauline Anahiem Kaser. She lived on a farm near Hoyt from 1917 to 1941 when she moved to Topeka.

    Mrs. Frese was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Indian Creek Community Club.

    She was married to Henry G. Frese Dec. 25, 1913, at Pender, Neb. He died April 8, 1988. A daughter, Alice Hubener, died Jan. 26, 1985.

    Survivors include a son, Clarence A. Frese, Adrian, Mich.; a daughter, Evelyn Milligan, Topeka; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

    Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church. Entombment will be in Mount Hope Mausoleum. Mrs. Frese will lie in state today at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home where relatives and friends will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
