    Leo F. Hanrahan
    Leo F. Hanrahan, 73, Topeka, died Saturday, May 4, 1996, at his home.
    He was born May 16, 1922, in Delia, the son of Thomas S. and Anna F. Hanrahan. He was a switchboard installation foreman for Southwestern Bell Telephone where he worked 36 years before he retired.
    He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served from 1940 through 1945.
    Mr. Hanrahan was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, Moose Lodge, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Ameri¬can Legion and Goodyear Post of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
    He was a past president of Local No. 6401 of Communications Workers of America and a charter member of NeKan Bell Credit Union.
    He was married to Mary C. Ulrich Sept. 15, 1948, in Topeka. She survives.
    Other survivors include three sons, Pat¬rick S. Hanrahan, Kansas City, Mo., Mi¬chael T. Hanrahan, Seattle, and Kelly E. Hanrahan, Wichita; his mother, Anna F. Hanrahan, Topeka; five brothers, Thomas J. Hanrahan, Robert D. Hanrahan, Donald P. Hanrahan and John L. Hanrahan, all in Topeka, and William L. Hanrahan, Port¬land, Ore.; and five sisters, Alice Pauline Aldridge, Gardena, Calif., Grace M. Gillgannon, Topeka, Helen C. Mesker, Palo Verde, Calif., Margaret M. Ayers, Olathe, and Shirley J. Stewart, Tucson, Ariz.
    Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Hanrahan will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where rosaries will be recited by Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle No. 503 at 6:30 p.m. and by the parish at 7:30 p.m.
