    Mamie M. Hanrahan
    Mamie M. Hanrahan, 92, To¬peka, died Saturday, November 28, 1992, at a Topeka hospital.
    She was born May 7, 1900, on a farm west of Delia, the daughter of Patrick and Mary Donnelly Hanra¬han. The family moved to Okla¬homa in 1910, where she attended school. She attended East Central Teacher’s College in Ada, Okla., and later earned a bachelor’s de¬gree in Reading Methods and Edu-cation from Emporia State Teacher’s College. She earned her master’s in Reading Methods and Economics and Finance in 1956, from the University of Nevada at Reno.
    She taught in Oklahoma from 1917 to 1928. In 1929, she came to Kansas and taught at the Security Benefit Private School and two years in Manhattan. She then came to Topeka and taught in public schools for 22 years. She was a school supervisor in Las Vegas from 1955 to 1975. She then re¬turned to Topeka.
    She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Assumption. She was a charter member of the Sigma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International, an honor so¬ciety and was a past president of the Topeka Business and Profes¬sional Women’s Club.
    Surviving her are several cousins.
    Services were at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Catholic Church of the As¬sumption. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, Okla.
    A parish rosary was recited Mon¬day, at Brennan Funeral Home.
