    Howard W. Harder

    DELIA--Graveside Services will be at 2 P.M. Friday, Feb. 25, 1983, at Delia Cemetery in Jackson County for Howard W. Harder, 71, Lebanon, Mo., a former Topekan, who died Saturday, Feb. 19, 1983, at a Springfield, Mo. hospital.

    He was born Jan.31, 1912 in Topeka, the son of Joseph William Harder and Minnie Smith Harder.

    Mr. Harder was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad before he retired. He was a member of the Kansas National Guard.

    Mr. Harder was married to Zelma Roberts, Dec. 15, 1932, in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Delores Daniels, Lebanon, Mo.; two sons, Robert Harder and Roland Harder, both of Independence, Kan. Twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

    He was a relative of Stacia McClain Eakin, on her mother’s side, the Eisermans.

    Palmer-Pickering Funeral Home in Lebanon, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
