ST. MARYS — Mabel Hards, 89,
Delia, died Saturday, March 20, 1993, at her daughter's home in Delia.
She was born Sept. 23, 1903, in Mayetta, the daughter of Otto and Beatrice Wyatt Jacobson. She spent most of her life in the Delia community.
Mrs. Hards was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Delia.
She was married to John W. Hards April 15, 1925, in Holton. He died Feb. 4, 1965.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Kerwin, Delia; two sisters, Pearl Cooper, Holton, and Elsie Houch, Delia; and a brother, Jess Jacobson, Holton.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Burial will be in Mayetta Cemetery at Mayetta. Mrs. Hards will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 Rochester Road, Topeka, 66618.
