    DEATH OF CHAS. FRITZ
Rossville friends were saddened this week by news of the death of Charley Fritz, which occurred Friday evening about 10:45 at Athens. Ga.

While it was known he had been in poor health for some time, the cause of his passing is unknown as no details have been received.

His body was taken to Ft. Lauderdale. Florida, for burial.

Mr. Fritz had won prosperity and honors since his removal from Rossville to Florida. He served as city manager for Ft. Lauderdale for some time, built scores of miles of new roads in various parts of Florida, and new streets in Ft. Lauderdale.

Since ill health had overtaken him he and Mrs. Fritz had been at Athens, Ga., where their daughter, Evelyn is an instructor in a college.
