Mrs. Florence Alice Gallagher, 70, Topeka, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, at her home.
Mrs. Gallagher was a certified nurses aide and had worked in many nursing homes in Topeka.
She was born Jan. 29, 1915, at Hiawatha, the daughter of Aaron and Maude Hall Rader. She lived in Denton, then in Horton 12 years before she moved to Topeka in 1952.
Mrs. Gallagher was a former member of Methodist Churches at Denton and Horton
She was married to Paul E. Wilson in 1936 at Horton. He preceded her in death. A son, Jon Erick Wilson, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Janice Dedmond, Topeka, Mrs. Karen Cheek, Rossville, and Mrs. Jan Halseth, Rock Creek; six sisters, Mrs. Betty Hoffman and Mrs. Marjorie Brown, both of Horton, Mrs. Dorothy Hazen, Denton, Mrs. Harriet Thomas, Reserve, Mrs. Norma Benson, Winchester, Idaho, and Mrs. Eunice Waggoner, Hiawatha; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Horton Cemetery. Relatives and friends will meet from 3 until 4 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 1500 W. 10th, 66606.
