Bailey Lester Bailey, 70, Delia, died Monday, Sept. 24, 1990, at a Topeka hospital. Mr. Bailey was a farmer and stockman between Hoyt and Delia before he retired in 1982. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was born Feb. 19, 1920, in Silver Lake, the son of Mirl and Effie Day Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a member of Pottawatomie United Methodist Church, Hoyt Chapter No. 189 of Order of Eastern Star, Hoyt Lodge No. 327, AF&AM, Topeka Con¬sistory of Scottish Rite and Ameri¬can Association of Retired Persons. Survivors include a brother, Stanley Bailey, Silver Lake. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery near Silver Lake.
