 | Obituary- Harth, Fred Fred Harth
Fred Harth, 85, St. Marys, died Monday in a Topeka hospital where he was admitted March 19. He had pneumonia and had been ill about 2 1/2 weeks.
He was born April 27, 1889, near Meriden. He lived in the Willard and Rossville communities since 1915 and lived at Rossville from 1944 until two years ago when he moved into the St. Marys Manor.
He attended the Christian Church at Rossville. He was a farmer before he retired.
He was married to Allie V. DeShazo May 17, 1916, at Kansas City, Mo. She died March 16, 1972.
Survivors include a son, Marlin R. [sic L.] Harth, Overbrook; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Mr. Harth will lie in state after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the [missing rest]
