    Raymond ‘Ray’ Hawk
    SILVER LAKE - Raymond “Ray” Hawk, 71, Silver Lake, died Wednesday night in a Topeka hospital. He had been ill several years.

    He was born June 25, 1906, north of Silver Lake where he lived all his life. He owned and operated the Hawk Garage before he retired several years ago because of ill health.

    He was married to Phyralene Irish on Oct. 2, 1935, at Falls City, Neb. She survives.

    Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Wells, Rossville, and Mrs. Gladys Burress, Silver Lake; and two step-sisters, Mrs. Frances Peters, Princeton, Ind., and Mrs. Edna Waldo, Rossville.

    Services are pending at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in the Silver Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Silver Lake United Methodist Church.
