| Obituary- Hayes, Blanche Services for Blanche Hayes Held Friday
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Parker Mortuary for Mrs. Blanche Hayes, 70, who died last Tuesday at her home in North Topeka. Burial was in Rochester Cemetery.
Mrs. Hayes was born Feb. 14, 1894, at Rossville and lived at St. Marys before moving to Topeka in 1940. Her husband, Gene Hayes, died in 1949.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lucille F. Calabrese of Topeka four sisters, Mrs. Ida Heiland of Topeka, Mrs. Bessie Perry, Emmett, Mrs. Verna Freeman, Bakersfield, Calif., and Mrs. Mildred Finney, Spokane, Wash.; three brothers, Carol Gutshall, Meade, Harry Gutshall, Rossville, and William Gutshall, Camarillo, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
