    Harley David Heiland

    Harley David Heiland, 81, died Tuesday, July 30, 1996, at his home near Rossville.

    He was born March 15, 1915, in Rossville, the son of Fred and Ida M. Gutshall Heiland.

    He was a lifelong resident of the Rossville community and was graduated from Rossville High School in 1935. He was a member of the Rossville Presbyterian Church and an associate member of Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion. He was a retired farmer.

    He was married to Dolly A. DeGraff on March 18, 1946, in Topeka. She survives.

    Other survivors include one son, Kenneth Heiland, Duncanville, TX; one daughter, Sandra Fisa, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; one sister, Jennie Roberts, Topeka; one brother, Fred Heiland, Topeka; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services were Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka. Burial was in Rossville Cemetery.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion, Rossville, and sent in care of the mortuary.
