    Norman Hildebrandt
    Norman E. Hildebrandt, 55, Topeka, died shortly after arrival Sunday, January 14, 1996, at a Topeka hospital. He had a heart ailment and diabetes.

    He was born October 21, 1940, in Barnes in Washington County, the son of Meryl A. and Elizabeth J. Oatney Hildebrandt He worked for 7-Up Bottling Company 15 years and later for Cargill, Inc. 18 years.

    He was married to Patricia A. Westing July 14, 1962, in Topeka. She survives.

    Other survivors include a son, Rick L. Hildebrandt, Tracy, Calif.; two daughters, Vicky L. Linnemann and Debbie A. Hildebrandt, both in Topeka; two brothers, Verlen M. Hildebrandt Rossville, and Vernon G. Hildebrandt, Lincoln, Neb.; three sisters, Betty Graves and Bonnie Meadows, both in Greenleaf, and Evelyn Hildebrandt, Clyde; four grandsons and two granddaughters.

    His funeral service was at 11:00 Tuesday (this morning) at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, To¬peka.
