ROSSVILLE — Kenneth Allen Hillebert, 16, Rossville, died Monday, April 24, 1995, from injuries he suffered in an automobile accident in Topeka.
Mr. Hillebert was a junior at Rossville High School and had worked at a Hardee’s restaurant in Topeka.
He was born Aug. 8, 1978, in Topeka, the son of Kenneth William and Carol Jean Swafford Hillebert.
Mr. Hillebert had participated in football, basketball and golf at Rossville High School and was a member of Future Business Leaders of America and the Letterman's Club. He played the saxophone in the school band. He was a former member of the Topeka Swimming Association.
Survivors include his parents, Kenneth W. and Carol J. Hillebert, at home; a sister, Jennifer L. Hillebert, at home; and grandparents, Floyd R. and Vi Swafford, Perry.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Rossville High School gymnasium. Burial will be at the Rossville Cemetery. Mr. Hillebert will lie in state from 7:30 a.m. to service time Thursday at the high school gymnasium. Memorial contributions may be made to Rossville High School and sent in care of People’s State Bank, 443 Main, Rossville, 66533. Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka is in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth Allen “Kenny” Hillebert, 16, Rossville, died Monday, April 24, 1995, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Topeka that after¬noon. He was born August 8, 1978, in Topeka, the son of Kenneth William and Carl Jean Swafford Hillebert.
Kenny was a junior at Rossville High School. He played football for three years, basketball for three years, and golf for one year at the high school. He was a member of Future Business Leaders of America; the Letterman's Club, and also played the saxophone in the band. He was a former member of the Topeka Swimming Association for three years.
Kenny worked part-time for Hardee’s in Topeka.
He attended Rossville Christian Church.
Kenny is survived by his parents; a sister, Jennifer Lynn Hillebert, of the home; and his grandparents, Floyd R. and Vi Swafford, Perry.
Funeral service was at 9:00 Thursday morning in the gymnasium of Rossville High School. Interment was in Rossville Cemetery, under direction of Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kenneth A. “Kenny” Hillebert Memorial to Rossville High School and sent in care of People’s State Bank, 443 Main, Rossville 66533.
