    Obituary- Hlavacek, Anna

    Mrs. Anna Hlavacek was born July 12, 1993, in Czech community of Hulc, Russia, and departed this life May 27, 1930 at the home of her sister, Mrs. Frank Hejtmanek, near Delia. She was 47 years, 10 months and 5 days old at the time of her death.

    July 4, 1892, she moved to Chicago, Ill., with her parents. In the same year they moved to Kansas and located southwest of Delia, where she grew to womanhood.

    In 1912 she was married to John Hlavacek of Omaha, Neb. They moved to Redfield, S. Dakota, where they lived until 1924 when they returned to Kansas and located in Topeka and lived for five years.

    Mrs. Hlavacek was united with the Presbyterian church early in life and always remained an active member. He life exemplified the Golden Rule. The funeral services were held at the Czech Presbyterian church, Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Joseph Leksa of Springs, Kans. and Rev. H.W. Apel of Delia.

    She leaves to mourn her loss, one daughter Olga Sophia, age 9, one brother, Slavonie Vacek, of Blaine, Kanss., three sisters, Mrs. George Hejtmanek, Mrs. Frank Hejtmanek, both of Delia, and Marie L. Vacek, Chicago, Illinois and many other relatives and friends.
