    Dies after cerebral hemorrhage
    Services were held Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Delia, for Joseph G. Hobart, 62, of Dodge City, former Delia resident. Mr. Hobart died Aug. 19 at his home after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.

    Born Feb. 17, 1906, at Cleburne, he had lived in the Delia community from 1916 to 1942. A resident of Dodge City the past 15 years, he had been employed by the state grain inspection department 25 years, and worked in Topeka, Coffeyville, and Dodge City.

    Mr. Hobart is survived by two brothers, Louis, of Delia, and Edward, of Las Vegas, Nevada.

    Interment was made in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys.

    Joseph G. Hobart
    DELIA — Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church here for Joseph George Hobart, 62, formerly of Delia, who died Monday at his home at Dodge City. He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage.

    He was born Feb. 17, 1906, at Cleburne north of Manhattan and lived in Delia from 1916 to 1942. He had lived at Dodge City 15 years. He had been employed by the State Grain Inspection Dept. 25 years and worked in Topeka, Coffeyville and Dodge City.

    Survivors include two brothers, Louis Hobart, Delia, and Edward Hobart, Las Vegas, Nev.

    Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys. Barber-Dunsford Funeral Home was in charge of, arrangements at Dodge City.
