    Harold M. Hoglund
    OLATHE — Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Village Presbyterian Church in Overland Park for Harold M. Hoglund, 63, Overland Park. He died Saturday, Oct. 22, 1988, at an Olathe nursing center.

    Mr. Hoglund was a mathematics teacher at Indian Hills Junior High School in the Shawnee Mission School District before he retired in 1980. He had previously taught at Lecompton High School in Lecompton.

    Mr. Hoglund served in the Army Air Force in World War II.

    He was born Sept. 7, 1925, in Osage City, the son of Clarence C. and Hulda Hedbero Hoglund. He lived in the Overland Park area since 1965.

    He was graduated from Kansas State University in Manhattan in 1950 and earned his masters degree from the University of Kansas in Lawrence.

    Mr. Hoglund was a member of Kansas National Education Association, National Education Association, Phi Delta Kappa honorary education fraternity, and Village Presbyterian Church in Overland Park.

    His wife, the former Rosella J. Zlatnik, survives.

    Other survivors include two sons, Douglas M. Hoglund, Kansas City, Kan., and Bradley W. Hoglund, Farmingdale, N.Y.; three brothers, Glen Hoglund, Mesa, Ariz., Garland Hoglund, Tempe, Ariz., and Donald Hoglund, Ottawa; and two grandchildren.

    Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens in Overland Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at McGilley and Hoge Memorial Chapel in Overland Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Shawnee Mission, 66208.
