    The chapel of the Salvation Army Citadel was the setting for the marriage of Debra Kay Larsen and Dennis Charles Holcomb at 4 p.m. Sept. 10. Maj. Dale Horn officiated.

    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman C. Larsen and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Arlene Looker. Denver, and Otis Holcomb. Warren Robbins, Ga.

    Attendants for the bride were Lyndi Lou Tryon, Janet Larsen and Darlene Martin, all of Topeka; and Lisa Hazlett. Manhattan. The bridegroom’s attend-ants were Donald Holcomb, and Donald Christian, Topeka; Daniel Holcomb, Roycrsford, Pa.; and Donald Duguid, Olathe.

    Mrs. Holcomb was graduated from Topeka West High School and is attending Washburn University. She is employed by Highland Park Bank and Trust. Mr. Holcomb is a graduate of Rossville High School and received a degree in communications from Washburn. He is employed by Holiday Inn West.

    The couple is living in Topeka.

    Dennis Charles Holcomb
    Dennis Charles Holcomb, 40, Topeka, died Monday, March 25, 1996, at a Topeka hospital from complications of Crohn’s disease.

    He was born Sept. 6, 1955, at Holton, the son of Otis Carl and Arlene M. Thompson Holcomb. He was graduated from Rossville High School and Washburn University and had lived in Topeka most of his life.

    Mr. Holcomb was a member of the Ichabod Club of Washburn University. He had worked at Macy’s and Dillard's for many years.

    Survivors include his mother, Arlene M. Looker, Topeka; two brothers, Don Holcomb, Topeka, and Daniel Holcomb, Littleton, Colo.; and his maternal grandmother, Eleanor Thompson, Rossville.

    Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Thursday at West Side Christian Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Holcomb will lie in state after 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Parker-Price Mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

    The family suggests memorials to the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, 1515 S.W. 10th, or the West Side Christian Church, 432 S.W. Lindenwood.

    He was graduated from Rossville High School and Washburn University, where he was a member of the Ichabod Club. He had worked at Macy’s and Dillard’s for many years.

    Surviving him arc his mother, Arlene M. Looker, Topeka; two brothers, Don Holcomb, Topeka, and Daniel Holcomb, Littleton, Colo.; and his maternal grandmother, Eleanor Thompson, Rossville Valley Manor.

    He will lie in state after 8 a.m. Wednesday at Parker-Price Mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. His service is at 9 a.m. Thursday at West Side Christian Church, Topeka. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka.
