| Obituary- Heller, Earl A SUICIDE AT SILVER LAKE WEDNESDAY
Despondent over poor health Earl P. Heller, 53, of 705 Jefferson street, Topeka, shot and killed himself at the home of his brother near Silver Lake Wednesday.
Heller formerly made his home on a tract of land near Belmont and Strait street, but retired on account of poor health about a year ago, according to Dr. H. L. Clark, county coroner. Tuesday he went to his brother’s farm and began work in a potato field. Wednesday morning, he obtained a shotgun and shot himself through the abdomen. He died shortly after being taken to a hospital.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, Joseph, Maurice and Elmer Heller, and three grandchildren.
