  Obituary- Bartee, James James Benson Bartee James Benson Bartee, 62, Topeka, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1996, at a Rossville nursing home. He was born Jan. 27, 1934, at Sturgeon, Mo., the son of Mitchell Alonzo and Mar¬garet Frances Benson Bartee. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business at North East Missouri State University at Kirksville, Mo.. He had lived in Topeka since 1966. Mr. Bartee was a member of Country¬side United Methodist Church. He was married to Nancy Anne Roberts in Dallas in 1960. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Leslie Ritchlin, Aurora, Colo., and Janie Higgins, Topeka; his mother, 'Margaret Bartee, Sturgeon, Mo.; two sisters, Barba¬ra Bartee, Carmichael, Calif., and Jane Holdman, Kansas City, Mo.; and two grandchildren. Memorial services.will be announced at a later date. Newcomer-Diffenderfer, Fu¬neral Home is in charge of arrangements.
