    FERG JAMIESON DEAD

A brief notice in a Shawnee, Okla., paper told of the death of Alexander F. Jamieson late Monday in a Shawnee hospital after a brief illness.

Mr. Jamieson was 86 years old, and had lived in and around Asher, Okla., for the past 50 years.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter. One brother, Ted of Moline Ill., is only survivor of a family of six boys who were reared in the vicinity of Rossville. The old family farm now is owned by Jim Rezac.

Ferg's wife, now deceased also was a Rossville girl, the former Mayme Butler. She died a few years ago.

Some time after their marriage they moved to Pottawatomie county Okla., and occupied a farm northeast of Asher, until about 15 years ago, when they moved into town.
