Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jenssen will be honored with a 25th wedding anniversary reception from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, December 17, at their home in Rossville.

| Obituary- Jenssen, Edward Edward D. Jenssen
ROSSVILLE — Edward D. Jenssen, 40, Rossville, died Monday, July 8, 1996, at a Topeka hospital where he had been a patient several days. He had an apparent heart attack.
He was born Aug. 2, 1955, in Topeka, the son of Donald D. and Genevieve M. Bixby Jenssen, and spent his early life in Rossville. He was graduated from Rossville High School in 1973 and attended Clark’s School of Business in Topeka. He was graduated from Kansas State University in Manhattan in 1983. He was office manager for G&G Electric in Rossville.
He, was a member of the Catholic Church.
He was married to Denise Dresch Sept. 12,1987, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Thomas Jenssen, at home; a daughter, Elizabeth Jenssen, at home; a stepdaughter, Karen Dresch, at home; his mother, Genevieve Jenssen, Rossville; two brothers, David Jenssen, Topeka, and Darryl Jenssen, Rossville; and a sister, Donna Brunin, Rossville.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Mr. Jenssen will lie in state after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Edward D. Jenssen Children’s Fund and sent in care of People's State Bank, Rossville, 66533.
