    KURT F. JENSSEN
    Kurt F. Jenssen, 72, Topeka, died Thursday, January 17, 1980, at a Topeka hospital after a short illness.

    He was born February 17, 1907, in Hamburg, Germany, the son of Friedrich and Bertha Jensen Jenssen, and came to the United States in 1924.

    Mr. Jenssen farmed in the Harveyville community many years, and moved to Topeka in 1953, when he was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber. He retired in 1969.

    He was married to Fern Leona Dudney September 3, 1927, at Lawrence. She preceded him in death February 12, 1978.

    Survivors include a son, Donald D. Jenssen, Rossville; two daughters,, Mrs. Hilda McLear, Gladstone, Mo.

    and Mrs. Marilyn Todd, Spring Hill; a brother, Alfred Jenssen, in Germany; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

    Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka.
