| Obituary- Johnson, Irene Irene Johnson
Irene A. Johnson, 87, Rossville, died Wednesday, January 16, 2002, at a Topeka nursing home.
She was born February 5, 1914, in Topeka, the daughter of Pete and Mary Kaeberle Long.
Mrs. Johnson was a machine operator for Ohse Meats for 27 years before she retired in 1979.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, Topeka.
On December 16, 1944, she married Harry Raymond Johnson in Fort Jackson, SC. He survives.
Other survivors include three brothers, Paul Long, Glendale, CA, and Bernard Long and Rex Long, both of Topeka.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday at 2 p.m. at the Assumption Catholic Church, Topeka. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Topeka.
