    Notes
    • I am not 100% certain the Walter Jones attached is correct, but it seems reasonable and very likely.
    • There is an Ethel Noble in our database, but I am not sure if this is the same one or not.

    Alfred Jones

Alfred Jones, 95, died Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in Kansas City, Kansas, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ethel Nobel.

The body was brought to Rossville cemetery Tuesday afternoon for burial.

The aged colored man came to Rossville, 53 years ago; in 1895, from El Reno, Okla., and for many years engaged in farming here and near St. Marys. For some years past he was cared for by his daughter.

The father of a large family are all dead except three--Charley and Walter Jones and the daughter in Kansas City. Mrs. Jones passed away a number of years ago.
