Jimmie Allen Justus, 65, Delia, died Sunday, Aug 14, 1988, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Justus repaired egg-cracking machines in the machine shop at Seymour Foods.
He was born March 20, 1923, at Tulsa, Okla., the son of Martin Allen and Sarah Adaline Rackman Justus.
He lived in Delia since 1982. Mr. Justus was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Topeka.
He was married to Mary Thelma Cobb June 25, 1953. She survives.
Other survivors include four daughters, Florence A. “Addie” Frost, Delia, and Dorothy McAferty, Mary T. Pineda and Darlene Justus, all of Topeka; two sons, George Allen Justus and William Ray Justus, both of Topeka; a sister, Dora Goodman, Marionville, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Newcomer-Diffenderfer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery. Relatives and friends will meet from 7 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 413 Polk, 66603, or to the American Cancer Society, 2913 Plass Court, 66611.
