| Obituary- Kaberline, Francis 1 Francis John Kaberline
Francis John Kaberline, 79, of Topeka, died Dec. 13, 2011, at St. Francis Health Center. He was born Sept. 22, 1932, in Topeka the son of John P. and Elizabeth L. (Schwerdt) Kaberline. He served with the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Francis was an electrician for AT&SF Railroad for 42 years before he retired. He attended St. Joseph grade school, was a member of St. Joseph/Sacred Heart Parish, Knights of Columbus Council 534, Philip Billard Post 1650 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion in Rossville.
He married Darlene MacMassey on July 4, 1955, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Wamego; she preceded him in death on Feb. 12, 2006. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Richard Kaberline, Jerome Kaberline and a sister, Sophia Ann Hladky. He is survived by a sister and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Satur-day at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment was in Mount Calvary Cemetery with military honors provided by Philip Billard VFW Post 1650.

Francis will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Friday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery with military honors provided by Philip Billard Post #1650 of the V.F.W.
