Pauline Kaullen, 97, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died December 25, 1991, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born August 18, 1894, in Chicago, the daughter of Theodore and Catherine Mertens Krier.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, the oldest member of the Daughters of Isabella, a member of the Altar Society, and a past member of the Legion of Mary.
She was married to Fred A. Kaullen June 4, 1924, at Chicago. He died February 25, 1976.
Survivors include one son, Fred P. Kaullen, San Diego, Calif.; three daughters, Rita Kerwin, Delia, Mary Whitfield, Rolling Meadows, Ill., and Barbara Marshall, Cape Girardeau, Mo.; one sister, Catherine Krier, Chicago; 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was recited by the Daughters of Isabella at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Following the rosary, a special prayer service was given by Pauline’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 1991, in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston with a con-celebrated Mass with the Rev. William Stanton, pastor, and Rev. Robert Schumacher, officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Mo.
Casket bearers were: Michael Kerwin, Kevin Kerwin, Patrick Kerwin, John B. Marshall, Jr., William G. Yuede and Ken Stadler.
