    Coral Keener
    Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Newcomer-Diffenderfer Funeral Home for Mrs. Coral Mae Keener, 78, 918 Tyler, formerly of Valley Falls, who died Wednesday at a Topeka hospital where she had been two days.

    She was born Dec. 18, 1899, in Soldier, and lived most of her life in Valley Falls. She had lived in Topeka 34 years.

    She worked at Southwest Press Clipping Bureau for 18 years, before she retired 16 years ago.

    She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, and was treasurer of Loyal Bible class for 12 years.

    She married Carl Keener in May, 1918. He preceded her in death.

    Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Francis Schraeder, Route 1, Rossville.

    Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Valley Falls. Mrs. Keener will lie in state at the funeral home until service time.
