  Obituary- Kimball, Jacob Mr. J. W. Miller received word of the death of Mr. Jacob Kimball, Saturday, at his home in Mechanicsburg, Pa., at the age of 84 years. He is the last of eight men who entered the Union army in 1861 at Carlisle, Pa., in K Co., 15th Penn. Cavalry and went thru the war together and during all the years since have kept in touch with each other until death claimed them one by one. Pour of the men were from eastern Pennsylvania and four from the western part of the state. Entering the army the same day they were assigned to bunk together and from that beginning their friendship had endured.
