Mrs. Rosemary Cunningham and Charles Foster Klesath were married Saturday morning, January 27, at 9:00 o’clock in St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Topeka. Rev. Gerald O’Shea performed the double ring ceremony in the presence of family and friends. Organist, Mrs. Joe Walsh, provided the wedding music.
The bride is the daughter of A. E. McElvain, Wamego, and the late Mrs. McElvain. Mr. Klesath is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs, Fred Klesath of Topeka.
For her wedding, the bride chose a suit of blue knit and a blue flowered pillbox hat. Her accessories were navy blue and she wore a white orchid corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. Zeno Bollinger, Wichita, attended the couple.
A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bride. Mrs. Loren Masters assisted with the serving.
Following a short wedding trip the couple is at home temporarily at 2317 Maryland, Topeka.
Mrs. Klesath is employed as head nurse in the out-patient department of the Santa Fe Hospital. Mr. Klesath, who formerly owned Klesath Drugs in Seabrook, is now owner of Charlie’s Pharmacy in Rossville.

Rosemary Cunningham Klesath, 91, Topeka, died Saturday, December 1,2001, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born May 13, 1910, in St. Marys, the daughter of Alford and Louise DeMarais McElvain. She spent her early life in St. Marys. She graduated from the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Topeka, and worked at Santa Fe Hospital, which later became Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Topeka.
On August 26, 1936, she married Edward T. Cunningham. He died April 15, 1953. She married Charles F. Klesath on January 26, 1962. He died March 14, 1975.
Survivors include one son, Thomas G. Cunningham, Topeka; one daughter, Vicki E. Cunningham, Topeka; one sister, Ethel Umscheid, Wamego; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
His service was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Newcomer Family Funeral Home. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Topeka.
