    Evelyn G. Klingman
    Evelyn G. Klingman, 89, Topeka, died Tuesday, December 5, 1995, at a Topeka retirement home.

    She was born October 4,1906, in Rossville, the daughter of Samuel Louis and Nellie Mae Trahoon Martin. She had lived in Topeka since 1943.

    Mrs. Klingman was a home-maker and had worked in the family store. She did volunteer work. She graduated from Rossville High School. She was a former member of the Presbyterian Church in Junction City. She was a 66-year member of Melita Chapter #116, Order of the Eastern Star, at Junction City.

    She married Mark L. Klingman March 1,1927, in Topeka. He died in October 1960.

    Surviving here are six cousins and three nephews.

    The family received friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Hope Chapel. Her funeral service was at 1:00 Friday at the chapel. A graveside service was held at 3:30 at Highland Cemetery, Junction City.
