    Mr. and Mrs. Alf Koci of Topeka will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary October 10 with a reception in the community room in the basement of the mall at White Lakes Shopping Center.

    No invitations are being issued for the open house, but friends and relatives are invited to call between 2 and 5 p.m. The couple requests that no gifts be presented.

    Mr. and Mrs. Koci were married October 12, 1915, in Topeka. They have lived in the Auburn and Delia communities all their lives until moving to Topeka last July. Mrs. Koci was the former Rosie Kovar.

    They are the parents of six children: Mrs. Viola Beach, Silver Lake; Mrs. Nina Wehner, Eudora; Mrs. Gladys Smith, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Richard Koci, Merriam; Irvin Koci, Philadelphia, Pa., and Clyde Koci, Topeka.

    There are thirteen grand-children and five great-grandchildren.

    Former Delia resident dies Monday
    Alfred Clare Koci, 74, of To¬peka, former Delia resident, was dead on arrival Monday at a Topeka hospital.
    A retired farmer, Mr. Koci was born Aug. 23, 1893, at Au¬burn and lived in the Delia community before moving to Topeka in July of 1965. He was a member of the Delia Presby¬terian Church.
    Services will be held Thurs¬day at 1:30 p.m. from the Wall- Diffenderfer Mortuary, Topeka.
    Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosie Koci, of the home; three daughters: Mrs. Viola Beach, Silver Lake; Mrs. Nina Wehner, Eudora; Mrs. Gladys Smith, Oklahoma City.
    Three sons: Richard H. Koci, Merriam; Irvin A. Koci, Dresher, Pa.; Clyde D. Koci, Topeka.
    Two brothers: George Koci, Route 9, Topeka, and Fred Koci of Topeka; three sisters: Mrs. Mary Slansky, Plainville; Mrs. Grace Hromada and Mrs. Alice Bayless, both of Topeka; seven grandchildren.

    Dr. C.G. Hermann, deputy district coroner, said he will perform an autopsy today to determine the cause of death.
    Alfred Koci was born August 23, 1893, at Auburn and lived at Delia before he moved to Topeka July 5, 1965. He was a member of Delia Presbyterian Church. He was a retired far¬mer.
