He was born January 17, 1909, in Shawnee County near Rossville, the son of John and Jenovfa Glabaone Kolbek. He lived most of his life in the Delia area. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mary Lundin, Delia; and a brother Charley Kolbek, Delia. Services were held Monday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
