    Miss Betty Ann Kovar
    Miss Betty Ann Kovar, 76, Raytown, MO, died Fri., Sept. 14, 2007, at her home. She was a registered nurse, retired from Research Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Stella Kovar, and a sister, Agnes Rafferty.

    Survivors include her brother: Earl Kovar (Disca Ann) of Liberty,
    MO; a sister; Evelyn Thompson of Pewaukee, WI; a nephew: Mike Rafferty (Cathy) of Harveyville, KS; 4 nieces: Barbara Bielicki (Dave) of Mequon, WI, Kathy Eurich (Dave) of Bayside, WI, Kim Thurmond (Craig) of Fairway, KS, and Kay Kovar of Gardner, KS; 6 great-nephews; 2 great-nieces; and 2 great-great-nephews.

    Graveside services will be at 11:30 AM, Wed., Sept. 19, 2007, at
    Rossville Cemetery. Betty will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Tuesday, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Wednesday.
