    COUPLE HONORED ON 50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
    Mr. and Mrs. Emil Elsik were honored March 24 by their children on their 50th wedding anniversary with an invitational tea in the Oenaville (Texas) Community Center from 3 to 6 p. m.

    The honored couple were married in the Seaton, Texas, Brethren Church on March 4, 1913, and have lived in Bell County since that time. They have nine children: Mrs. Ella Kovar, Rossville, Kansas; Mrs. Ruth Jurca, Mrs. Vlasta Havlik, Mrs. Lillian Billeck, and Mrs. Dolores Teer, all of Temple, Texas; Johnnie, Cyclone, Texas; Alvin and Olvin, both of Dallas, Texas: and Antone, Temple, Texas.

    Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Kovar of Rossville helped celebrate her parents anniversary accompanied by Jaroslav Sedlacek. They also visited friends and relatives in Temple, Dallas and Rogers, Texas.

    ELLA KOVAR
    Mrs. Ella Emilie Kovar, 67, Rossville, died Monday, December 14, 1981, at a Topeka hospital.
    Mrs. Kovar was born August 10, 1914, at Temple, Tex. to Emil and Frances Simecek Elsik. She married Clyde Kovar January 14, 1936, at Temple, Tex. and the couple moved to the Rossville/Delia area. Mr. Kovar died June 25, 1965.
    To this union were born three children.
    A daughter, Mary Frances Kovar, died in infancy November 7, 1941. Surviving her are two sons, Eugene W. Kovar, Columbia, Mo., and Oren D. Kovar, Rossville.
    Other survivors are four brothers, Olvin Elsik, Mabank, Tex., Johnny Elsik, Burlington, Tex., Alvin Elsik, Dallas, Tex., Antone Elsik, Temple, Tex.; four sisters, Ruth Jurca, Cameron, Tex., Lillian Billeck, Vlesta Havilik, and Delores Teer, all of Temple, Tex.; and two grandchildren.
    Mrs. Kovar was a member of the Delia Presbyterian Church, Amaryllis Chapter 321, Order of the Eastern Star, ZCBJ Lodge at Rossville, and was an active 4- H leader. She had been employed by the Rossville Valley Manor for several years.
    The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 Tuesday evening (tonight) at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka. Funeral services are at 3 p.m. Wed-nesday at the Delia Presbyterian Church, with the Reverend Bill Adair officiating. Interment will be in the

    Mrs. Ella Emilie Kovar
    Mrs. Ella Emilie Kovar, 67, Rossville, died Monday at a Topeka hospital.
    She was born Aug. 10, 1914, in Texas and lived in the Rossville community since 1936. Mrs. Kovar had worked at Rossville Valley Manor.
    She was a member of the Presbyteri¬an Church at Delia, and Amaryllis Chapter No. 321, Order of Eastern Star, and Z.C.B.J. Lodge, both at Rossville. She also was a 4-H club leader.
    She was married to Clyde Kovar Jan. 14, 1936, at Temple, Tex. He died June 25, 1965. A daughter, Mary F. Kovar, died Nov. 7, 1941.
    Survivors include two sons, Eugene W. Kovar, Columbia, Mo., and Oren D.     Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church in Delia. Burial will be in the Czech-Moravian Cemetery north of Rossville. Relatives and friends will meet from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church, Delia, 66418.
