| Anniversary- Kovar, Charley and Viola 1 50th Anniversary for Charley Kovars
Mr. and Mrs. Charley Kovar, Delia, will celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary on Sunday, August 12, 1979, with a reception in their honor from 2 to 4 p.m. in the grade school building in Delia. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
Mr. and Mrs. Kovar were married at the home of the bride on August 14, 1929, with the Reverend Leksa officiating.
The Kovars are the parents of five children: Doreen Hudkins, Topeka; Bertha Dunn, Germany; Grace Turenne, Forest Lake, Minn.; Philip, Junction City; and Peggy Shelton, Altus, Okla. They have 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

| Anniversary- Kovar, Charley and Viola 2 Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Kovar, Delia, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on August 12. They were married on August 14,1929.
All of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren attended. Ice cream and cake were enjoyed in the afternoon by Doreen Hudkins and friend Jim Stone, Bertha and Melvin Dunn, Delia, Grace and Robert Turenne Sr., Forest Lake, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Kovar, Junction City, Peggy Shelton and friend Jim Spencer, Blair, Okla. Grandchildren attending were Mr. and Mrs. Steve Hudkins, Elmont, Mrs. Diane Droege, Arizona, Charles Dunn, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Turenne, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Don DeTomas, Minn.; Richard Turenne, Minn., Alan and Kimberly Kovar, Junction City; William Shelton, Blair, Okla.; Kevin Kovar, Delia. Great-grandchildren present were Michelle and Tricia Hudkins, Robert Turenne III, Jacob Turenne, Michael Turenne, Carri, Tony, Lesley and Jodelle DeTomaso. On August 14, calls were received by Mr. and Mrs. Edward Macha, Delia, Bertha Martinek and Elmer Thompson, and Mrs. Berny Sheppeard, Junction City.

| Anniversary- Kovar, Charley and Viola 3 Kovars Will Celebrate 60th Anniversary Aug. 13
Mr. and Mrs. Charley Kovar will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Sunday, August 13, with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Delia Community enter.
Hosts will be their five children Doreen and Jim Stone, Topeka; Bertha and Melvin Dunn, rural Rossville; Grace and Bob Turenne, St. Paul Minn.; Philip and Peggy Kovar, rural Milford; and Peggy and Jim Spencer, Blair, Okla. The Kovars have 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Charley Kovar and Viola Keller were married at her parents' home north of Delia on August 14, 1929. They lived on a farm about five miles east of Delia for 58 years before moving to Rural Route 1, Box 108, Milford, Ks. 66514, where they live with their son and family.
Charley and Viola request no gifts, please; however, a card shower would be appreciated.

MILFORD Viola Rae Kovar, 83, Milford, formerly of rural Delia, died Friday, May 21, 1993, at a Junction City nursing home.
She was born Feb. 2, 1910, on a farm near Delia, the daughter of Alfred Ray and Lillie Bland Keller. She grew up near Delia and attended Delia High School.
She was married to Charley Kovar on Aug. 14, 1929, at the rural home of her parents near Delia. Mrs. and Mrs. Kovar lived and farmed near Delia until 1987, when they moved to Milford to live with their son, Philip Kovar.
Mrs. Kovar became a resident of Valley View Professional Care Center in April 1990.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Delia.
Survivors include her husband, Charley Kovar, at the home in Milford; four daughters, Doreen Stone, Topeka, Bertha Dunn, Rossville, Grace Turenne, Pine City, Minn., and Peggy Spencer, Blair, Okla.; a son, Phillip Kovar, Milford; a sister, Leafy Keller Daugherty, Mayetta; 11 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and eight step- great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rossville Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Czech-Moravan Cemetery near Delia. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home in Junction City.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church in Delia and sent in care of the funeral home.

MILFORD Viola Rae Keller Kovar, 83, Milford, formerly of Delia, died Friday, May 21, 1993, at a Junction City nursing home. She moved from Delia to Milford in 1987 to be near relatives.
