    Lloyd E. Mansfield
    Service arrangements are pending at Parker Mortuary for Lloyd Elsworth Mansfield, 63, Rossville, who died Saturday in a Topeka hospital.

    He was born Feb. 18, 1910, near Goff and lived in Topeka before he moved to Rossville in 1959

    He served in the Navy six years and later served in the Army in Germany during World War II. He was a truck driver for the ABF Freight System before he retired in 1970.

    He was a member of Hesperian Lodge No, 111, AF&AM, and Jimmy Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion, both at Rossville.

    He was married to Esther Hards Sept. 1, 1941, at Oskaloosa. She survives.

    Other survivors include a son, Tom Mansfield, Rossville; two brothers, Jim Richards, 2026 Florence, and Delbert Richards, Wetmore; four sisters, Mrs. May Rowland, Goff, Mrs. Eva Hammond, 2223 N. Taylor, Mrs. Frankie Lucas, Copan, Okla., and Mrs. Jean Webb, Pinole, Calif.; and a grandchild.

    Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church at Rossville.
